Asian automotive makers are getting more sales than their U.S counterparts. Recently, the American automotive market started to shift from heavy duty Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV), to low fuel consumption vehicles. Especially with the global warming going on and petrol prices started to hike, due to OPEC cutting off supplies, hybrid cars are getting more preferences from car buyers. Recently Opel, join Japanese Auto makers for the manufacturing of hybrid cars. I just hope that this technology will be affordable for the common people to own one.
